The Master of Information Systems Management (MISM) programoffered by DeVry University equips students with the skills necessary to effectively function as senior systems analysts, IS project leaders and MIS managers – career positions that form the backbone of the IS field. The curriculum is taught from a practitioner perspective and focuses on applying IS concepts and skills to real-world situations. MISM coursework specifically addresses topics such as: analyzing and designing computer/network based applications of information technology, project management, process re-engineering, and applications of engineering technologies. In addition, students may choose to concentrate in one or more of the following areas: distributed systems management, electronic commerce, information security, and network management. |
