The Master of Health Services Administration program is designed to meet the needs of health care professionals and others in health services support industries who wish to obtain the knowledge and skills needed to assume mid-level and executive level managerial positions in health services organizations. The health services administration program prepares students to manage and direct the business aspects of health care. Specific careers, for which this degree can help students prepare, as identified by the Accrediting Commission on Education for Health Services Administration (ACEHSA), include: hospital administrators, health care managers, managed health care plan coordinators, and administrators in short and long-term care facilities. |
